Energy Healing
Growing up, whenever I was not feeling good, my mom would ease the problem by holding or touching the area where I had pain.
I also noticed that I would hold my cheek when I had a toothache or hold my head or stomach when in pain. Our instincts make us apply energy healing, which helps rebalance our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
This also applies to your dogs or cats; energy healing promotes their well-being and power.
Palm Healings
If you are unfamiliar with palm healing, you can learn it very quickly; or you might already be using it without knowing.
We already have the tools for palm healing: our hands.
With love and a little practice, you could soon be channeling life force energy through your hands to your dogs or cats.
Apply your palm over the area where you know or think your dog or cat has a problem, whether it be joint pain, inflammation and/or emotional issues.
Your thoughts of wanting your dog or cat to feel better—along with your palm’s ki (“energy” in Japanese) — move through your hand to the area that needs to be healed.
Palm healing works immediately if your pet’s symptoms are simple, such as a body temperature imbalance or lonely and scared feelings.
I use this simple healing application for my dogs and cats, as well as my clients.
Animal Reiki
*If you do not know what Reiki is, click here
Most of *Reiki practitioners might say “Reiki is Reiki for humans or animals”.
I thought so too in the beginning when I first learned Reiki in 2002, but as I apply Reiki to my animal family sometimes they were not able to accept to receive and also some of the animals who were abused they got scared when I try to use my palm.
I really wanted to learn the proper way to offer Reiki to my animal family and animal friends.
As I started to practice Animal Reiki, I have learned that Animal Reiki was not applying palms to animals.
Animal Reiki is essential to practice mindful meditation with animals and let animals lead us. Palms are used only when animals seek it out, and them only as compassionate support.
Mentally, focusing positive “All is Well” state. Acknowledging and honoring animals as a spiritual teacher and healer.
When we offer Reiki to animals, we enter into a space of deep and compassionate connection, where a beautiful healing response can be seen.
My Animal Reiki teacher, Kathleen Prasad, Animal Reiki Source is teaching “Animal Reiki is not that we are doing something to them; rather than we are sharing and being. To be with another being with an open heart, with a listening spirit, with a humble eye, to truly become One: this is our experience of wisdom and compassion as Reiki practitioners.”
“Creating respect and equality between animals and their people through the power of meditation. When we are peaceful within ourselves, we can support our animals and our community better.”
To be a clear channel for Reiki, students practice meditation and the principles of Reiki as a lifestyle, which includes the Five Reiki Precepts:
This is another version of Five Reiki Precepts.
For today only:
Do Not Anger
Do Not Worry
Be Humble
Be Honest in Your Work
Be Compassionate to Yourself and Others
If you don’t know what to do for your animal family, close your eyes and focus, breathing slowly.
Find a solid, grounded foundation in your heart, and send love to your dog or cat.
Stay calm and meditate; acknowledge your feelings and do not try to control them.
When your animal family, dog or cat come closer and show calmness and peacefulness, invite their energy to join yours, and stay there about 15–30 minutes.
If your dog or cat is not comfortable or wants to get up and move, slowly stop and accept their wish.
Most of the time, I see tremendous benefits from offering Animal Reiki to my dogs and cats.
It yields different aspects and results each time, and each dog or cat receives it differently.
Animal Reiki is great for new dogs and/or cats arriving at your home for the first time; it helps alleviate their fear and anxiety.
I use Animal Reiki with Bach Flower Remedy, which also helps ease feelings/emotions of fear and anxiety, etc. for your animal family and you. When you heal your own fear, you might quickly see their fear disappear as well.
I am available for offering Animal Reiki and other energy work for your animal family and also teaching Animal Reiki for you to learn to help your animal family.

Reiki
Do you know Reiki?
Some people have never heard of Reiki before.
Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called “energy” healing.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words (written with two Japanese kanji characters) –
“霊 rei” meaning spirit and “気 ki” meaning energy.
These kanji mean “spiritual energy.”
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes encourage emotional or physical healing for almost 100 years.
A type of palm healing, it employs “life force energy” to support the energy flow of the whole body. Reiki goes further by using visualization with positive energy for the body and mind to connect with the life force.
