Sanae Suzuki, BFRP
Author, Whole Health Macrobiotic Holistic Nutrition Counselor, Practitioner, and Educator. Bach Flower Registered Practitioner (Flower Therapist), Herbalist, Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner for People and Animal Family. Animal Communicator, and Certified Yoga Teacher.
I have dedicated my life to healing myself and help others.
My purpose of healing is not just physically but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually since becoming sober in 1985 with the help of Ala-Anon, Alcoholics Anonymous, CoDa, and Vipassana meditation.
I overcame ovarian cancer with macrobiotic and holistic modalities in 1993.
I survived a near-fatal car crash (three days in a coma, and my heart stopped for 12 minutes) in 2001.
I recovered another cancer of lymphoma in liver stage IV (this cancer came from Hepatitis C that I got from blood transfusions when I had fetal car assident) with the macrobiotic approach, holistic and western medicine treatments in 2017.
My husband and I established “Mugen” (it means infinity in Japanese) LLC in 1999 and authored books on healthy eating and sustainable living for people and animal families. We operated a plant-based vegan, macrobiotic restaurant, Seed Kitchen, in Venice, California, from 2008~2016.
I love growing organic vegetables, medicinal herbs, and native plants in my garden and foraging for the plants in the wild. I enjoy the art of calligraphy, drawing, watercolor, photography, sculpture, wood-block print, knitting, sashiko, natural dye, writing, playing ukulele, ocarina, yoga, hiking, and swimming, and being with my husband and animal family.
I have been taking care of my dogs and cats’ family with homemade food since 1995.
Volunteer for Animal Rescue Groups to help heal abused and/or PTSD dogs and cats.
I live with my husband, Eric Lechasseur, and currently reside in Santa Monica and North Fork, California, with our dogs and two rescued cats.
